Kelli has over 15 years of experience in the wedding & event industry. She worked at KCRG-TV9 after college, then successfully owned her own bridal shop, before professionally joining her colleagues at Unique Events in 2019. She is the founder and coordinator of several social events around the Corridor, and loves bringing big ideas to life!
Starting this whole thing off (20+ years ago) as a DJ company, Travis has strategically grown and evolved Unique Events
into the company it is today. With an insane amount of work, an amazing staff, and a little bit of luck - Travis has emerged
as an industry leader, with a company unlike any other.
He preaches customer satisfaction, event efficiency,
and great working relations with fellow vendors.
(And as if this business didn't keep him busy enough,
Travis also owns & operates The HarMac, a local event venue)
Terran’s journey in the floral industry began over 15 years ago at Kirkwood Community College where she graduated
from the Floral Careers program. Post graduation, she worked for many years at a local flower shop, before then
establishing her own wedding floral company.
After 5 years (and a few freelance gigs with Unique Events!) she decided to join the team at UE full-time and became the Floral Director. Terran creates amazing floral installations, gorgeous arrangements, and renews her passion for
all things floral with each & every event.

Ashley's journey with Unique Events began back in the Summers of 2018 and 2019, when she joined our team as the Summer Intern. From day one, we were hooked, and the feeling was absolutely mutual. So much so, that after graduating in 2020 with her Bachelor's degree in Event Management from Iowa State University, Ashley joined our team full time as an Event Designer! Minus a year-long sabbatical in Chicago in 2024, we've been rockin' together ever since! Ashley's dedication to her clients, her keen eye for design and detail, and her bubbly and fun personality remains unwavering and is at the forefront of every project she's a part of.
Emily joined UE in the Fall of 2022. She is from Illinois, but like so many others, she is a Hawkeye through and through! Emily might not be using her B.A. in Psychology, but she found her true passion in the wedding industry, initially, while working as a stylist at a local bridal boutique. She is utilizing her great attention to detail as one of our Wedding Designers, making sure everything is organized and in it's place for each event she is a part of.
While attending the University of Northern Iowa, Sabrina studied Interior Design and Business. During her time in school, she began Day-of-Coordinating for weddings. Sabrina then moved to Cedar Rapids and spent 3.5 years working in the Interior Design industry primarily focused on furnishings, accents, and décor. She loves implementing her knowledge of UE products and services to help clients pull their visions together! Outside of work, you can find her spending time with family, cooking, or attending sporting events!

Katrina came to Unique Events in 2021 as a part-time helper, but quickly became a full-time employee, and worked her way up to a Quality Lead position. Recently, Katrina was promoted to the Order Management Supervisor role within our Operations Department. Her professionalism, personal accomplishments, and big heart, all fit well into her leadership position. In her free time, Katrina loves spending time with her husband, stepson, and their two huskies Rocky + Leo
Gary worked his first shift at Unique Events back in 2015.
In 2016, he was hired full-time in our warehouse. Since then, he has worked his way up to Warehouse Supervisor and into his current role of Logistics Manager. Gary has been on *hundreds* of setups & removals! And he's gotten to visit most of the venues in the Midwest. His 9+ years in the warehouse makes him our longest tenured employee. Off duty, Gary enjoys live music, ice cream, and taking care of
his three cats and one blind rabbit.

With 14 years of experience in event management, Haley brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to every project she undertakes. Her journey began at a young age, assisting her grandmother in her wedding planning business. This early exposure ignited a lifelong passion for creating memorable events. Haley’s keen eye for detail and her ability to bring creative visions to life have made her a trusted name in the industry. She excels in orchestrating seamless events, whether intimate gatherings or large-scale functions, always ensuring a personalized touch that leaves a lasting impression.
Lisa graduated from Mt. Mercy College with a BA in Business and two minors in Philosophy and History. Post graduation, she started on a new path, discovering her true passion in floral design. As the years went by, Lisa tried other careers, but always came back to her creative roots!
Lisa has over 25 years of experience in her floral career, and joined the UE Team in 2024. She loves serving customers and their floral needs. When she isn't working, Lisa enjoys music, seeing friends, walking her dog, and gardening.
Caitlin brings over five years of experience as a Wedding Planner and Day-of Coordinator, seamlessly managing the details that make each couple’s wedding day unforgettable. In addition to her work in the wedding industry with Unique Events, she is also a Project Analyst, leveraging her analytical and organizational skills to ensure flawless event execution. Caitlin’s passion for precision, connection, and stress-free celebrations makes her a wonderful resource for clients on their big day.
